Are you licensed?
Goldmans of Florida LLC is licensed under chapter 538 of the Florida statute as a second hand dealer and secondary metals recycler. Further, Goldmans complies with all State, County and Municipal requirements wherever we do business, and our scales are licensed and inspected by the Dept. of Agriculture. There are gold buyers out there who cut legal corners – we are not one of them.
How does selling gold to Goldmans Work?
Whichever venue you choose, you will meet with a Goldmans Gold Buying professional one-on-one who will first examine your merchandise and sort it according to Karat Quality. Next, each Karat is weighed in order to come up with an offer price for your lot. At this point you can choose to accept the purchase offer, in which case you will fill out some paperwork and receive your check. It's that simple.
Do you pay cash?
Goldmans of Florida LLC pays by check only. Our checks are drawn locally on Wachovia Bank and are good immediately upon issue. We pay by check for the protection of both our customers and ourselves.
Who can sell to Goldmans of Florida
In compliance with State law, Goldmans of Florida will buy Gold and Silver from anyone who is over the age of 18, who has Government Issued Photo Identification, and who is the legitimate owner of the merchandise being offered for sale. Upon completion of your transaction, you will be asked to sign and leave a thumbprint. This is also in compliance with state statute.
